Role description
Description Hybrid Tuesday-Thursday onsite in either Woburn, MA or Cary, NC Our client seeks an OAS analytics/bi specialist who also has ODI experience to design and optimize data integration pipelines, data models, and business intelligence solutions. The role will develop ETL with ODI, deliver visual analytics in Power BI and Oracle Analytics Server, and ensure data quality and performance across warehouse environments. The work will leverage Azure data services where applicable and support stakeholders with documentation, training, and best practices. Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. Rate: $65.00 to $75.00/hr. w2 Responsibilities • Develop, maintain, and optimize ETL processes that align with project and enterprise data integration requirements. • Design, develop, test, and document ETL programs and workflows. • Perform data mapping from transactional applications to data warehouses. • Develop and maintain logical and physical data models using enterprise standards and best practices. • Build interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI to support business analytics. • Develop, configure, and maintain analytics solutions using Oracle Analytics Server. • Utilize Microsoft Azure services such as Data Factory, Synapse, and SQL Database for ETL and data integration. • Perform data integrity checks, validations, and ensure performance of data structures. • Document processes and manage source code control using standard tools. • Stay current with trends, tools, and best practices in analytics, ETL, and cloud data solutions. • Provide training and support to stakeholders on analytics tools and dashboards. Experience Requirements • Strong experience in ETL development using Oracle Data Integrator, including data mapping and integration. • Hands-on expertise with Oracle Analytics Server and Power BI. • Ideally Proficiency with Microsoft Azure services such as Azure Data Factory, Synapse, and SQL Database (preferred). • Solid understanding of database design principles, data modeling, and administration. • Strong SQL skills with experience across transactional and data warehouse systems. • Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. • Experience working in agile, collaborative team environments.
