ETL Developer

Our Financial Services client is seeking a highly skilled ETL/Data Warehouse Developer to lead the design and implementation of data mart models and ETL processes. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in dimensional modeling, Oracle PL/SQL, and large-scale data warehouse environments. This role requires a detail-oriented problem solver who thrives in fast-paced, cross-functional teams. This position is hybrid in mid town NYC and requires to be onsite 4 days per week. Local NY Metro market candidates only (no relocation). This role is not eligible for employer-sponsored work authorization (e.g., H-1B, OPT, CPT, etc.) or transfer. Candidates must have valid U.S. work authorization Required 1. 5+ years of hands-on experience with Snowflake CI/CD and automation. 1. 5+ years of Python development for data engineering and automation tasks. 1. Experience with Oracle PL/SQL is a plus. 1. Demonstrated ability to design and implement GitHub Actions for automated Snowflake deployments. 1. CI/CD expertise using GitHub, Git Actions, Team City, SDA. 1. GitHub Actions Certification strongly preferred. 1. Familiarity with Veracode scans and secure coding practices. 1. Proven track record in large database development project teams. Key Responsibilities • Design and implement data mart models. • Map source system models to data mart structures. • Design, develop, and maintain ETL code. • Define and capture metadata and business rules for ETL processes. • Develop ETL validation logic to ensure data integrity. • Perform source system understanding and profiling. Minimum Qualifications • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent. • 5–9 years of professional experience in data warehousing and ETL development. • Proven experience in dimensional modeling and STAR schema design. • Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in large-scale, high-availability data warehouse environments. • Strong proficiency in SQL and Oracle databases. • Advanced skills in PL/SQL for complex transformation logic and ETL business rule implementation. • Working knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL performance tuning. • Familiarity with the software development life cycle (SDLC). • Experience working in Agile development environments. • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities. • Excellent oral and written communication skills. • Self-motivated and capable of working independently and collaboratively. Preferred Qualifications • Experience with Datastage ETL Tool. • Experience with MicroStrategy BI platform. • Exposure to MacOS and iOS environments. • Familiarity with Broker-Dealer operations and data flows
