Role description
ETL Developer II (Snowflake, Python, Oracle) 📍 New York, NY | Hybrid Onsite | Contract We are seeking an experienced ETL Developer II to join a Technology Back Office team in New York. This is a high-impact role supporting a special project within the Corporate Technology group. You’ll design and implement large-scale data mart solutions, develop ETL pipelines, and play a key role in advancing Snowflake and automation initiatives. 🔹 What You’ll Do • Design and implement dimensional data mart models (STAR schema). • Map source systems to data mart models and develop/maintain ETL code. • Write complex transformation logic using PL/SQL to implement business rules. • Design and implement CI/CD pipelines for Snowflake using GitHub Actions. • Perform source system profiling, metadata capture, and ETL validation. • Drive SQL performance tuning in Oracle environments. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile development environment. • Contribute to large-scale, high-availability data warehouse initiatives. 🔹 What We’re Looking For • 5–9 years of experience in ETL development and data warehousing. • Strong Snowflake CI/CD automation skills (5+ years). • Python development for data engineering and automation (5+ years). • Hands-on experience with Oracle PL/SQL and performance tuning. • Expertise in GitHub Actions (certification strongly preferred). • Familiarity with TeamCity, SDA, and secure coding practices (Veracode). • Proven ability to deliver in large database development projects. • Knowledge of DataStage ETL and MicroStrategy a strong plus. • Strong problem-solving, communication, and multi-tasking skills. • Experience with Agile methodology is a plus. 🔹 Education • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science (or equivalent experience). 🔹 Why This Role?
