ETL Developer

Responsibilities This position would work directly with a government end-client. This position is hybrid, requiring in person work at least once a week, with occasional hours over 40 a week. The Consultant will work with staff in the client’s Division of the Chief Information Officer, supporting the Data Analytics unit and an affiliated team, to expand and operationalize the organization’s data analytics environment and supporting technologies (data warehousing, BI, statistical analysis, and external data exchanges). Key responsibilities: Review and analyze existing ETL/data-integration processes and external sources; design and document an architecture to communicate those data flows to Division staff and other stakeholders. Help implement the analytics architecture to ingest and handle both structured and unstructured datasets. Assist with migrating and implementing ETL environments, including building fact and dimension models driven by user-story business requirements. Support dashboard development (Tableau and OBIEE) per user-story requirements. Load and integrate newly acquired data into the secure analytics environment. Provide additional data-analytics development and support as requested. Qualifications A bachelor of science degree, or equivalent four-year degree, in computer science or related information technology field A minimum of four years of experience developing and maintaining a data interchange system interfacing with a wide array of varying data sets including flat file, direct database connection, and eXtensible Markup Language transactions; A minimum of four years of experience working with ETL tools (e.g., Qlik and Informatica); A minimum of four years of experience performing data modeling; A minimum of four years of experience developing a data analytics ETL environment to support data analytics; and A minimum of four years of experience coding in SQL (Ideally, PL/SQL) (Not required): Experience with Tableau Server Rate $40-75/hr C2C is not available for this positions. Relocation assistance for this position is not available. This is a 12 month position with possibility of extension.
