Role description
Job Title: ETL Developer Location: Dallas, TX (First week in office, then remote) Duration: Contract on W2 Job Description. We currently have a contract opportunity for a ETL Developer to lend specific subject matter knowledge around Informatica and P&C insurance data processes. β€’ Design and develop ETL code, metadata definitions, queries, and workflows to support data integration processes. β€’ Extract, transform, and load data from operational systems and files into staging areas and ODS. β€’ Implement ETL job workflows with robust error handling, exception management, and rollback frameworks. β€’ Conduct unit testing and integration testing, documenting detailed design and test results. β€’ Maintain and optimize ETL processes, schedules, and procedures for reliability and performance. Qualifications β€’ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (graduate degree preferred). β€’ Minimum 2 years of experience in P&C Insurance industry working with Informatica ETL tools. β€’ Strong troubleshooting skills for technical data issues and transformation problems. β€’ Knowledge of ETL best practices, data modeling, and performance optimization. β€’ Excellent communication and documentation skills for supporting project deliverables.
