Job Title: ETL Developer – Hybrid | Austin, TX 📍 Location: Austin, TX 78751 (Hybrid – 2 Days Onsite per Week) 📅 Contract Duration: 12 Months 💼 Employment Type: Contract About the Role: We are seeking a skilled ETL Developer to join a high-impact data integration project for a public-sector initiative. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in ETL development, data acquisition, and automation, along with a collaborative mindset for working within an Agile team environment. You will contribute to the design, development, and support of a modern data integration hub, working with large-scale data from multiple sources to support enterprise analytics and reporting platforms. Key Responsibilities: • Develop and automate ETL pipelines using Informatica (IICS or PowerCenter) • Design and optimize complex SQL scripts and materialized views • Integrate data from diverse sources (Oracle, Snowflake, SQL Server, Excel, PDFs, etc.) • Collaborate with Data Engineers and Architects on system design • Support Agile ceremonies and sprint deliverables • Create technical documentation, data models, and visual workflows • Support deployment, testing, and enhancement efforts • Work on a Java-based site supporting Tableau dashboards Required Qualifications: • 8+ years of experience with Informatica ETL tools (IICS, PowerCenter, or IDMC) • Strong SQL scripting and data transformation experience • Proficiency with Python • Experience working in Agile environments • Familiarity with JIRA and Agile sprint processes • Strong documentation skills using Visio, Erwin, or similar tools • Hands-on experience with data sources like Snowflake, Oracle, Excel, Access Preferred Qualifications: • Experience working with healthcare data, PII/PHI • Exposure to Tableau or similar data visualization tools • Front-end knowledge: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, APIs • Prior public sector or large enterprise project experience
