ETL Report Developer Washington, DC (Hybrid – Local Candidates Preferred) Job Summary STAFFXPERT LLC is seeking an ETL Report Developer on behalf of our client in Washington, DC. This role supports a major transportation technology initiative focused on modernizing payment and data systems. The selected candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining ETL processes, supporting enterprise data integration, and ensuring accurate reporting across multiple systems. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in data warehousing, ETL development, and enterprise reporting environments. This role requires close collaboration with development teams and stakeholders to design and implement scalable data solutions that support complex business requirements. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes for extracting, transforming, and loading data across enterprise systems. • Develop and support data warehousing, integration, and migration processes. • Perform data modeling including conceptual, logical, and physical data models. • Create and maintain logical and physical data flow models for ETL applications. • Ensure the accuracy, reliability, and integrity of enterprise data. • Support data integration with vendor-hosted and cloud-based systems. • Collaborate with development teams to coordinate software requirements and architecture. • Assist with system security, hardening, and vulnerability remediation activities. • Document application architecture, workflows, and system relationships using visualization tools. • Contribute to the planning and deployment of custom application solutions within a complex enterprise environment. Required Skills & Experience • 5+ years of experience in application architecture or software development. • 5+ years working with enterprise reporting and data systems. • Strong experience with ETL development, data warehousing, and business intelligence solutions. • Proven experience with data modeling (conceptual, logical, and physical). • Experience documenting application architecture using Microsoft Visio or similar tools. • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel for requirements documentation and data analysis. • Experience coordinating software requirements with development teams. • Strong documentation and presentation skills using Microsoft Word and PowerPoint. • Ability to design and deploy complex data-driven solutions in enterprise environments. Preferred Qualifications • Experience with Business Process Management (BPM) administration and architecture. • Familiarity with enterprise-level data integration and reporting frameworks. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Education Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Business, Finance, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
