Overview
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Excel Consultant to join their team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on working with large datasets, automating processes using Excel Macros (VBA), and integrating data from Microsoft Access databases. The ideal resource will play a key role in streamlining reporting, improving data accuracy, and supporting business decision-making through advanced spreadsheet solutions.
Responsibilities
β’ Develop, maintain, and optimize complex Excel spreadsheets with advanced formulas, pivot tables, and VBA Macros.
β’ Design and manage Access databases to support data storage, retrieval, and reporting needs.
β’ Automate repetitive tasks and reporting processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual errors.
β’ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver actionable insights.
β’ Ensure data integrity and consistency across Excel and Access platforms.
β’ Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Excel models and Access queries.
β’ Document processes, tools, and best practices for future reference and training.
Qualifications
β’ Proven experience working extensively with Microsoft Excel, including VBA Macros and advanced functions.
β’ Strong knowledge of Microsoft Access, including table design, queries, forms, and reports.
