Exensio Developer / Installation Engineer / Architect

Client: Apple Location: Austin, TX or Sunnyvale, CA Job Type: Onsite/ Hybrid Role Role 1: Exensio Developer Role 2: Exensio Installation Engineer Role 3: Exensio Architect Exensio Installation Engineer Position Summary The Exensio Installation Engineer is responsible for the deployment, configuration, and integration of the Exensio analytics platform at client sites or within internal infrastructure. This role ensures seamless installation and optimal performance by working closely with customers, project teams, and support staff. Key Responsibilities • Install, configure, and maintain the Exensio platform on various operating systems and environments. • Collaborate with client IT teams to ensure proper system integration and data connectivity. • Troubleshoot installation and system issues, providing clear documentation and effective solutions. • Conduct system testing and verification to validate successful deployment. • Provide technical guidance and support during and after installation. • Prepare and maintain installation guides, technical documentation, and procedural checklists. Preferred Skills • Proven experience in software installation, system integration, or IT engineering roles. • Experience with Exensio or similar analytics/data platforms. • Scripting and automation experience (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell). • Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems. • Familiarity with databases, networking, and server configurations. • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. • Familiarity with semiconductor manufacturing environments is a plus. Exensio Developer Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and implement solutions using the Exensio platform in alignment with business and technical requirements. • Configure Exensio components, workflows, data models, and business rules as per solution design. • Integrate Exensio with enterprise systems such as ERP, CRM, MDM, data warehouses, and external APIs. • Develop and optimize data pipelines, transformations, and validation logic. • Develop Dashboards as per the wireframes designed • Participate in requirement analysis, technical design discussions, and solution reviews. • Perform unit testing, system testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT). • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application, integration, and performance issues. • Ensure adherence to coding standards, security guidelines, and data governance policies. • Prepare technical documentation including design specifications, configuration guides, and deployment notes. • Support deployment activities and provide post production support as needed. Required Skills & Qualifications • Strong experience in Exensio development and configuration. • Solid understanding of data management concepts including MDM, data quality, metadata, and reference data. • Proficiency in SQL and experience working with relational databases. • Hands on experience with system integration, APIs, and data exchange mechanisms. • Familiarity with ETL/ELT processes, data validation, and transformation logic. • Understanding of enterprise application architecture and integration patterns. • Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery models. • Strong analytical, problem solving, and debugging skills. • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross functional teams. Technology Competencies • Core Exensio platform Knowledge • Strong Knowledge of SQL • System integration and API Knowledge • Cloud platform exposure ( AWS) Exensio Architect Key Responsibilities Architecture & Platform Design • Define the end to end architecture for the PDF Exensio platform, covering data ingestion, storage, processing, analytics, and integration layers • Design high throughput, low latency data pipelines to handle large scale sensor and test data from manufacturing equipment. • Ensure architecture supports scalability, resilience, performance, and security in high volume manufacturing environments. Data Ingestion & Management • Architect solutions for real time and batch ingestion of sensor, test, and production data. • Define data models, metadata standards, and data governance practices aligned with manufacturing and quality requirements. • Ensure data quality, traceability, and consistency across the Exensio ecosystem. Analytics, Yield & Quality Enablement • Enable advanced analytics and reporting capabilities to support yield optimization and product quality improvement initiatives. • Collaborate with analytics, data science, and manufacturing teams to translate business and engineering requirements into scalable technical designs. • Support root cause analysis and continuous improvement use cases using Exensio data assets. Technical Leadership & Governance • Act as the technical authority for Exensio platform design decisions and best practices. • Review solution designs, guide implementation teams, and ensure adherence to architectural standards. • Mentor engineers and architects, promoting architectural rigor and engineering excellence. Stakeholder Collaboration • Work closely with manufacturing, quality, IT, and business stakeholders to align platform capabilities with organizational goals. • Support pre sales, RFP responses, and technical discussions by articulating Exensio architecture and value propositions when required. • Collaborate with vendors and internal teams on platform enhancements and roadmap planning. Required Experience & Qualifications • 12–15+ years of experience in semiconductor or manufacturing data management, with exposure to large scale data platforms. • Strong background in data architecture, distributed systems, and high volume data processing. • Hands on experience with sensor data, test data, and manufacturing systems. • Proven ability to design and govern enterprise grade data platforms. Technology Experience • Knowledge of PDF Exensio Implementation and design , development • Knowledge of Snowflake and pipeline development for Exensio from Snowflake • Spotfire Integration Knowledge • Knowledge of Cassandra and Spark • Experience with Cloud / SaaS deployment model • Experience of Python programming language • Knowledge of Semantic Data Model from Exensio perspective
