Experienced Data Scientist | $100/hr Remote

Position: Experienced Data Scientist Type: Hourly Contract Compensation: $100/hour Location: Remote Duration: Approximately 2 months Commitment: 10-40 hour/week, flexible and asynchronous Role Responsibilities (Training support will be provided) • Analyse large structured datasets provided by partner organizations • Design reasoning-based analytics questions requiring multi-step problem-solving and data interpretation • Write and validate SQL queries (with DuckDB, pandas, or Python notebooks) to answer those questions • Produce clear, human-readable explanations that articulate analytical reasoning and insights • Format deliverables into structured JSON outputs (question, query, answer) • Ensure delivery consistency and quality through peer collaboration and reviewer feedback Requirements • 6+ years of experience in data analytics, data science, or related quantitative fields • Proficiency in SQL and Python; experience with DuckDB or pandas preferred • Strong background in data exploration, statistical reasoning, and business intelligence • Familiarity with iPython, Jupyter Notebooks, or GitHub • Excellent written communication skills with ability to explain complex reasoning clearly • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related discipline (advanced degree preferred) • Access to a desktop or laptop computer (Chromebooks are not supported) Application Process • Upload resume • AI interview based on your resume (15 min) • Submit form
