Our Enterprise SaaS AI Application improves sustainment of the U.S. Air Forceβs 5,000-aircraft fleet ($100B yearly budget). Having delivered $200M+ in cost avoidances, we are growing 4x in repeat contracts.
We are building hallucination-free Agentic AI for mission critical decision support where GenAI relies on proprietary Explainable AI engines for SME-explainable insights from historical data.
Job Description
Weβre hiring an Explainable AI Engineer to build, integrate, and deploy our AI Engines and Agentic AI workflows. Youβll have an opportunity to learn from Stanford and Georgia Tech professors and work across algorithms and data pipelines to evolve our Explainable AI including
β’ Development of deep math features for the models, ML, and inferences
β’ Automation of data wrangling and cleansing towards scalability
β’ Aerospace grade V&V for mission critical functions using simulations
β’ Explainable AI engine interfaces to data, human users, and Agentic AI
Youβll start on a consulting basis (at competitive hourly rate), with the opportunity to move into a full-time role with equity as you demonstrate impact.
Main Responsibilities:
β’ Understand, develop, & support deep math analytics in Explainable AI Engines
β’ Build, evolve, verify, and validate data processing pipeline segments
β’ Support scalable deployment of the AI
β’ Integrate Explainable AI with LLM tools for Agentic AI experience
β’ Collaborate with the cloud software team and occasionally with customers
β’ Document Explainable AI for customer users and internal software developers
Qualifications
Must-haves
β’ Experience with productized analytical applications and technical documentation.
β’ Hands-on skills in at least some of mathematical methods in:
β’ Statistics
β’ Bayesian estimation
β’ Mathematical optimization
β’ Decision and Control
β’ Experience with MATLAB, Java, GitHub (Actions).
β’ Strong collaboration and communication skills.
β’ U.S. Citizenship.
Pluses
β’ Advanced degree
β’ Familiarity with model-based development and simulation-based verification
β’ Shell scripting
β’ Golang
β’ Experience with GenAI and LLM augmentation through RAG
Additional Information
US Citizenship Required: This position requires the ability to work with Controlled Unclassified Information for the Department of Defense.
Location: This is a remote position. USA, Nationwide. Proximity to either our Palo Alto, CA or Atlanta, GA office is a plus.
