Fabric Data Engineer - Contract Role
Outside IR35 | Day Rate: £500-550pd | Woking / Oxfordshire area | Hybrid | Initial 6 Months
We’re also looking for a Data Engineer to join a programme of work within a commercial data environment, supporting a Customer 360 data management initiative across sales and marketing for a global brand.
This role has a strong focus on Microsoft Fabric, the wider Azure stack, and modern development practices, including agentic development and GitHub‑based workflows.
You’ll be hands‑on, delivery‑oriented, and comfortable working under pressure as part of a collaborative team.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and build scalable data pipelines using Microsoft Fabric.
• Develop and manage data products supporting sales and marketing analytics.
• Implement agentic and automated development patterns where appropriate.
• Work closely with Power BI developers and stakeholders to enable analytics use cases.
• Contribute to GitHub‑based development, version control, and CI/CD practices.
Ideal Candidate
• Solid experience as a Data Engineer within Azure environments.
• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Fabric.
• Comfortable working with GitHub and modern development workflows.
• Delivery‑focused, pragmatic, and team‑oriented.
• Able to attend site 1–2 days per week in Woking or the wider Oxfordshire area.
