Role description
• We are looking for an experienced FICO Blaze Developer to design, develop, and maintain business rules-driven solutions using FICO Blaze 7.x.
• The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in RMA-based metaphors, decision management, and Java-based development, along with solid exposure to modern development and source control practices.
• Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and implement business rules using FICO Blaze Advisor 7.
• Create and maintain RMA-based metaphors, including decision tables and rule flows
• Develop and manage code templates and decision table templates for scalable rule authoring
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to translate requirements into decision logic
• Perform Java development and unit testing to support rule execution and integrations
Ensure high-quality, reusable, and maintainable rule artifacts • Work with SCM tools (GitHub) for version control, branching, and collaboration
Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, and performance optimization • Support deployments and integrations across environments • Must-Have Skills & Experience • 5-7 years of experience in Business Rules Management Systems (BRMS) and decision management. • Strong proficiency in FICO Blaze Advisor 7.x • Hands-on experience with RMA-based metaphors, especially decision tables • Extensive experience with templating: Code templates • Decision table templates • Solid Java development experience with strong unit testing practices • Experience using SCM tools such as GitHub • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills • Nice-to-Have Skills • Experience with Groovy and Grails • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, especially Jenkins • Experience with RDBMS systems such as: PostgreSQL.
