Role description
Role: Finance Data Analyst Rate: £600-£650/day inside IR35 (via Umbrella) Location: London (hybrid working) Start date: ASAP Duration: 6-month initial contract (scope for extension) We’re supporting a leading London Markets Insurance client working on a business critical data platform transformation. The ideal candidate will have experience delivering complex finance data initiatives within London Markets Insurance. Key Responsibilities: • Lead finance-focused data analysis to support the rollout of a new data platform. • Translate complex finance requirements into analytics and data platform solutions, validate use cases, and support finance reporting and decision-making. • Support requirement gathering and documentation for both current IFRS reporting and the future-state solution. Required experience: • Background in Accountancy or Finance (Strong preference candidates with IFRS and Phinsys experience) • Experience delivering change in agile London Markets Insurance environments • Experience in designing and developing SQL queries for data analysis and reporting, leading on data analysis, governance and quality. • Insurance and Business Analysis qualifications are desired, alongside experience with modern data technologies. • Excellent communication skills with ability to engage with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams
