Role description
Must Have's: Experience with various Finance reports 2. Experience with Regulatory Reporting systems 3. BA should be able to define test strategy/test plan/test data, documenting specifications, executing the testing and preparing presentations. Short Job Description: An experienced Business Analyst with strong expertise in Finance reporting, regulatory reporting systems, and transformation initiatives to support the re design of Finance reports driven by upstream ledger and architecture changes. The BA will partner with Finance, Technology, and Regulatory teams to document requirements, define test strategies, execute testing, and deliver improved reporting processes leveraging new technologies. Responsibilities: The Senior Business Analyst/Solution Architect is responsible for leading regulatory reporting projects including the transformation of the regulatory reporting system within a changing architecture environment. The end-to-end delivery includes project initiation activities, planning, governance and implementation. This role requires deep understanding of regulatory reporting systems and the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders. β€’ Lead regulatory reporting projects β€’ Work on transformation strategy for a regulatory reporting system β€’ Find innovative and creative solutions to support Finance, Liquidity, and Risk sponsors β€’ Present technical design, architecture structure and new technologies opportunities β€’ Propose dynamic and scalable solutions β€’ Prepare road maps, plans and status reports β€’ Worked with global teams β€’ Manage diverse stakeholders β€’ Ensure that the solution meets the requirements set out to cover the business line’s needs. β€’ Ensure solutions are delivered on time, mitigate risks and can be maintained with minimal maintenance β€’ Understand and analyze the business line’s needs with the aim of developing the appropriate and sustainable solutions that are consistent with the entity’s strategic plan and the associated portfolio of requests. β€’ Build partnerships with assigned development and stakeholder teams. β€’ Write business requirements and specifications, perform workload and risk analysis. Minimum Required Qualifications: β€’ Understanding of various industry solutions of preparing regulatory reports β€’ 7+ years’ experience in the financial industry (Bank/FBO/Broker Dealer) β€’ Proficiency in using regulatory reporting tools and related IT system β€’ Proven experience as project manager and/or senior business analyst β€’ Experience with business analysis, data sourcing, business/ functional specification, and application testing β€’ Extensive experience with Adenza/Axiom Controller View (Nasdaq) β€’ Expertise/Subject Matter Expert in financial products, accounting and regulatory reporting. β€’ Good communication and management skills. β€’ Able to work with stakeholders on different levels β€’ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the mindset to find innovative and creative solutions β€’ Experience leading teams β€’ Able to work under tight deadlines Preferred Qualifications: β€’ Bachelor’s degree or relevant master’s degree, business, accounting or information technology β€’ Work experience in the fields of accounting, audit and/or Information management and implementation in the financial services industry β€’ Leadership skills β€’ Experience working in geographically dispersed and cross-functional teams β€’ Knowledge and experience of the Software Development Life Cyle or Agile Methodology β€’ Experience with tools like HP ALM or Jira β€’ SQL knowledge β€’ Open-minded
