Financial Python AI Developer Jersey City, NJ Hybrid 3 days onsite 2 days remote $60-$68/hour 18 Month W2 Contract Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled AI Python Developer to join the Global Markets Technology team. This role will focus on building and deploying AI-driven solutions, data pipelines, and advanced analytics platforms that support trading, risk management, and market analytics. The ideal candidate will have strong Python development experience combined with machine learning and AI capabilities, along with exposure to financial markets or capital markets technology. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and deploy AI/ML solutions using Python to support trading, pricing, risk analytics, and market data analysis. Build scalable data pipelines and AI-powered applications that process large volumes of financial market data. Develop and integrate machine learning models, predictive analytics, and AI-driven automation tools into existing trading and analytics platforms. Collaborate with traders, quants, and technology teams to translate complex business requirements into scalable AI-driven solutions. Develop RESTful APIs and microservices to support AI applications within the enterprise architecture. Implement data preprocessing, feature engineering, model training, and evaluation workflows. Work with cloud platforms and distributed computing frameworks to support large-scale data processing. Ensure solutions meet performance, security, and regulatory requirements for financial systems. Contribute to code reviews, technical design discussions, and Agile development processes. Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience in Python development with strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms. Experience developing AI/ML models using Python libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, or similar frameworks. Strong experience with data processing and analytics using Python (Pandas, NumPy, etc.). Experience building data pipelines and working with large datasets. Experience developing APIs or microservices using frameworks such as Flask or FastAPI. Strong SQL and database experience. Familiarity with distributed systems or big data technologies (Spark, Hadoop, or similar). Experience working in Agile development environments. Preferred Qualifications Experience working in Global Markets, Capital Markets, or Financial Services technology. Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. Familiarity with LLMs, Generative AI, or NLP-based applications. Knowledge of market data, trading systems, or risk platforms. Experience with containerization and DevOps tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
