Job Title: Finanical Business Manager Duration: 18 Month W2 Cotnract Location: Jersey City, NJ | New York City Required Pay Scale: $58/hour Job Title:Β Financial Business Manager /Β  Business Support Analyst (Equities Cash Technology) Duration:Β 18 Month W2 Contract- Hybrid 3 days onsite 2 days remote Experience Required: 5+ Years Location: Jersey City | NYC Rate: $50-$58/hour Overview We are seeking a highly organized and polished Technology Business Manager / COO Business Support Analyst to support the Equities Cash Technology organization. This role sits within the COO/Business Management function and serves as a key liaison between Technology leadership and centralized teams including Finance, Governance, Business Management, Procurement, and Operational Risk. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and business support within a large enterprise environment, coupled with advanced Excel skills and the ability to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders. This individual will help drive financial transparency, resource planning, vendor oversight, executive reporting, and operational excellence across the technology organization. Key Responsibilities Financial Planning & Budget Management β€’ Support the Equities Cash Technology leadership team with ongoing financial management activities. β€’ Develop and maintain budgets, forecasts, and financial plans for the technology organization. β€’ Track and analyze forecast versus actual spend and provide variance analysis. β€’ Prepare financial reporting packages and supporting documentation for leadership reviews. β€’ Assist managers with resource and budget forecasting activities. β€’ Support quarterly business and organizational reviews, including financial updates and headcount reporting. Resource & Headcount Management β€’ Manage technology resource planning activities, including: β€’ Headcount forecasting and reconciliation. β€’ Hiring requests and approval tracking. β€’ Onboarding and offboarding coordination. β€’ Contractor and contingent workforce management. β€’ Mandatory training and compliance tracking. β€’ Partner with development and functional managers to monitor resource allocations and utilization. Vendor Management & Procurement β€’ Coordinate vendor management activities across the organization. β€’ Oversee invoice processing and accounts payable activities. β€’ Monitor invoice status and ensure timely payment processing. β€’ Track vendor spend, statement-of-work (SOW) run rates, and contractor forecasts. β€’ Assist with procurement activities and budget planning related to external vendors. Reporting & Executive Communications β€’ Produce executive-level reports, presentations, and organizational updates. β€’ Develop and maintain organizational metrics and dashboards. β€’ Capture and report key project and portfolio metrics. β€’ Prepare materials for executive meetings, business reviews, and leadership presentations. β€’ Respond to ad hoc reporting and analysis requests from senior management. Governance & Operational Support β€’ Act as a liaison between corporate governance teams, project managers, and technology leadership. β€’ Coordinate the collection and validation of project, program, audit, and compliance information. β€’ Monitor operational risk activities and audit remediation progress. β€’ Track application status and organizational initiatives. β€’ Promote best practices related to reporting, governance, and operational processes. β€’ Work with globally distributed teams to coordinate information requests and deliverables. Required Qualifications β€’ 5+ years of experience in a Business Management, COO, Finance Support, Technology Finance, or similar function. β€’ Strong background supporting large enterprise technology organizations. β€’ Proven experience with: β€’ Financial planning and analysis (FP&A). β€’ Budgeting and forecasting. β€’ Resource and headcount management. β€’ Financial reporting and variance analysis. β€’ Vendor management and procurement processes. β€’ Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including: β€’ Complex formulas and functions. β€’ Pivot tables. β€’ Data analysis and reconciliations. β€’ Financial modeling. β€’ Creation of charts and executive reporting materials. β€’ Strong proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint for executive presentations. β€’ Experience producing executive-level reporting and interacting with senior stakeholders. β€’ Excellent verbal and written communication skills. β€’ Strong organizational and time management abilities. β€’ Exceptional attention to detail and follow-through. β€’ Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. β€’ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. β€’ Self-motivated with a delivery-focused mindset. β€’ Collaborative team player with the ability to work across globally distributed teams. Preferred Qualifications β€’ Experience supporting a COO, Business Management, or Technology Finance function within financial services. β€’ Exposure to Equities, Capital Markets, or Investment Banking Technology environments. β€’ Experience with back-office operations or accounting process automation initiatives. β€’ Dashboard creation and data visualization experience using: β€’ Excel dashboards and charts, β€’ Tableau, or β€’ Similar reporting tools. β€’ Working knowledge of SharePoint for workflow management, portals, and data repositories. β€’ Familiarity with operational risk management, audit tracking, and governance processes.
