W-2 Role Summary Support director-level accounting leader in BAU projects, process improvements, and data analytics for finance/billing operations. Act as a proactive right-hand partner driving metrics continuity, building reports, and communicating results independently. Key Responsibilities • Build weekly claims reports using Power Query/Power Pivot: identify parameters, compare month-over-month metrics, flag variances, and automate scheduled runs. • Perform data analysis with advanced Excel (formulas, INDEX-MATCH, hyperformulas) and Power BI (DAX preferred, no visualizations); share logical results in meetings. • Identify risks/gaps, ensure stakeholder transparency, handle month-end tasks, and contribute to process enhancements without handholding. Requirements • Advanced Excel/Power BI proficiency for metrics-driven modeling; director-level accounting/operations experience (public accounting or portfolios preferred). • Independence to manage 5+ tasks proactively; insurance/claims knowledge a plus but not required. • Strong communication in non-micro-managed environment.
