Financial Data Analyst (Remote)

• Role: Financial Data Analyst • Location: Remote (Work from Anywhere) • Payout: $40 - $70/hour Role Overview: We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Financial Data Analyst to work on a contractor basis. In this role, you will apply your financial expertise to help train next-generation AI systems, shaping how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. Your work will have a direct impact on the finance industry, and you will have the opportunity to collaborate with data science and product teams to share financial insights. This role is unique in that it allows you to contribute to the development of frontier AI models without requiring prior experience in AI. Key Responsibilities: • Analyze and interpret complex financial data to ensure high-quality annotations and data accuracy, utilizing advanced spreadsheet techniques to organize, validate, and manipulate large datasets. • Label, annotate, and categorize financial data, ensuring consistency and precision, and review and validate financial documents for completeness and compliance with established guidelines. • Collaborate with data science and product teams to share financial insights and communicate findings clearly in both written and verbal formats to technical and non-technical stakeholders. • Utilize advanced spreadsheet techniques to identify trends and patterns in financial data, and develop and maintain complex financial models to support business decisions. • Continuously improve annotation processes and procedures, staying up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in financial data analysis. Required Skills & Qualifications: • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and identify trends and patterns. • Advanced spreadsheet skills, including experience with data manipulation, validation, and visualization, and proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders, and strong attention to detail and organizational skills. • Experience working with financial data, including financial statements, reports, and documents, and knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality results and meeting deadlines.
