Role description
A leading global financial institution is seeking a Financial Data & Reporting Analyst to join its Corporate Reporting & Analysis team. This group plays a critical role in overseeing financial reporting, supporting internal stakeholders, and enhancing data-driven decision-making across the organization.
This position offers strong visibility across finance leadership and the opportunity to work on high-impact initiatives involving data strategy, automation, and advanced analytics within a complex, global environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Strategy & Transformation
β’ Support the development of a long-term data strategy to consolidate multiple data sources into a unified reporting platform
β’ Build automated workflows to improve efficiency and reduce manual processes
β’ Deliver actionable insights through enhanced data modeling and analytics
Automation & Innovation
β’ Contribute to automation initiatives leveraging emerging technologies such as AI/ML
β’ Identify opportunities to streamline financial reporting processes
β’ Assist in implementing tools and solutions to enhance system capabilities
Financial Reporting Support
β’ Partner with finance teams on reporting, analysis, and data validation
β’ Assist with month-end, quarterly, and annual reporting processes
β’ Support ongoing improvements to reporting infrastructure and controls
Qualifications:
Education
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related field
β’ Advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus
Experience
β’ 3+ years of experience in financial reporting, data analytics, or related field
β’ Experience working in complex or global organizations is a plus
Technical Skills
β’ Advanced Excel skills, including Power Query
β’ Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other data visualization tools
β’ Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, SharePoint, etc.)
β’ Working knowledge of SQL, Python, or other data/programming tools
β’ Exposure to data platforms such as Azure, Fabric, or similar technologies
β’ Understanding of AI/ML or OCR tools is a plus
