Responsibilities
Kforce has a client in Phoenix, AZ that is seeking a Senior Manager of Financial Support to join their team. This role provides strategic financial guidance on technology investments, manages budgeting and forecasting processes, and leads cost optimization initiatives. The position collaborates with technology and business leaders to ensure alignment between financial planning and organizational goals. Key Responsibilities:
β’ Act as a strategic finance partner to the IT organization, supporting business objectives and financial planning
β’ Identify and implement improvements to financial processes through automation and system enhancements
β’ Lead cost optimization efforts across cloud services, software licensing, and infrastructure
β’ Conduct financial modeling and analysis for technology projects, including capital and operational expenditures
β’ Manage the annual budgeting and monthly forecasting cycles for IT, analyzing key assumptions and financial impacts
β’ Supervise and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering collaboration and performance
β’ Perform risk assessments and oversee internal controls related to financial operations
β’ Coordinate responses to internal and external audit requests
β’ Develop and maintain internal accounting policies, especially those related to software capitalization and SaaS
β’ Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
β’ At least 7 years of experience in financial analysis or accounting
β’ Proficiency with financial systems such as Oracle, Essbase, or similar platforms
β’ Experience in IT financial planning, budgeting, and cost management
β’ Strong analytical and financial modeling capabilities
β’ Proven leadership experience managing teams of 3-10 professionals
β’ Advanced Excel skills (including VBA), and familiarity with data visualization and reporting tools
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
