FircoSoft Developer / Implementation Engineer

Job Title: FircoSoft Developer / Implementation Engineer Location: NYC or Iselin, NJ (Hybrid – 2-3 days/week onsite) Duration: Long Term Key Notes: • 2–3 interview rounds — final round in-person (NYC or Iselin, NJ). • Candidates must have hands-on FircoSoft experience (Continuity v5+). • Hybrid onsite work required (2–3 days/week). Job Summary: Seeking a FircoSoft Developer / Implementation Engineer to design, deploy, and maintain Firco Continuity and Firco Trust applications for sanctions screening, AML, and compliance operations within a leading investment banking environment. The role requires expertise in FircoSoft configuration, database integration, and rule tuning for regulatory compliance. Responsibilities: • Install, configure, and customize Firco Continuity (v5+) and Screening Box. • Develop and optimize rule sets for Alert Tuning, Auto Hit Qualifier, and Workflow Accelerator. • Integrate FircoSoft with Oracle/MS SQL and middleware tools (IBM MQ, REST APIs). • Develop utilities/reports to support compliance and regulatory requirements (OFAC, FATF, EU, FCPA, KYC). • Support ongoing tuning and maintenance of sanction list updates and screening workflows. • Collaborate with infrastructure and DevOps teams for Firco deployments and upgrades. Required Skills: • Hands-on expertise in FircoSoft Continuity / Trust configuration and deployment. • Strong SQL (PL/SQL, T-SQL) with Oracle and MSSQL databases. • Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments, and scripting using Java or Python. • Exposure to containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and system design. • Understanding of AML, sanctions screening, and global regulatory frameworks. Preferred Skills: • Experience with Actimize, SAS AML, or similar compliance platforms. • Knowledge of data encryption, PGP, and security protocols. • Experience with ETL tools, Kafka, or IBM MQ integrations. • CI/CD pipeline familiarity (Jenkins, Git). Education: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematics.
