Russell Tobin's client, an American online marketplace company, is hiring a Remote Drive Parcel Forecasting Analyst Apply Now! Employment Type: Contract Location: Remote Term: 16 weeks (40 hours per week) Pay range: $30/hr - $35/hr Schedule: Mon – Fri 9AM – 5PM EST Weekends: Occasional need to facilitate reporting (<1 hour on Saturdays and Sundays). The goal is to automate this reporting by mid-engagement. Job Description Key Responsibilities: • Develop and optimize processes for refining and reporting daily volume forecasts. • Own daily reporting to internal and external partners, automating reports from Google Sheets/Excel, Sigma, and other internal tools. • Update forecasting models using daily actuals and historical trends to improve future volume predictions and support planning. • Assist internal and external teams in understanding forecast accuracy, actuals vs. forecast variances, and historical performance (particularly as it relates to quality outcomes). • Build sustainable, automated processes for intra-day forecast updates. Required Qualifications: • Advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets (pivot tables, data cleaning, automation of repeated calculations/tasks). • Strong analytical skills with the ability to derive insights from complex data sets. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Comfort working in a fast-paced environment (quick decision-making, issue escalation). • Detail-oriented with strong project management and organizational skills. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience working with Sigma (or similar BI tools). • Background in banking, data analytics, or finance.
