Position Overview
We are seeking a Forward Deployed AI Engineer to help drive the adoption and deployment of Agentic AI solutions within a large-scale enterprise banking environment. This role sits at the intersection of AI engineering, business process transformation, and stakeholder engagement.
The ideal candidate will work directly with business users, operations teams, and subject matter experts to identify automation opportunities, design AI-enabled workflows, and deploy production-grade Agentic AI solutions that deliver measurable business value. This is a highly collaborative, process-oriented role that requires both strong technical expertise and exceptional communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
β’ Partner with business stakeholders and subject matter experts to understand operational processes, challenges, and opportunities for AI-driven transformation.
β’ Conduct process discovery sessions and document current-state workflows, procedures, and business requirements.
β’ Design future-state AI-enabled workflows that improve efficiency, productivity, risk management, and operational outcomes.
β’ Develop and deploy Agentic AI solutions that leverage Large Language Models (LLMs), AI agents, and workflow orchestration frameworks.
β’ Build and optimize Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures and contextual grounding strategies.
β’ Design, develop, and maintain AI agents capable of reasoning, task execution, decision support, and workflow automation.
β’ Integrate AI solutions with enterprise systems, APIs, data platforms, and operational tools.
β’ Collaborate with business and technology teams to validate solutions, gather feedback, and continuously improve AI capabilities.
β’ Explain technical architectures, design decisions, tradeoffs, and implementation approaches to both technical and non-technical audiences.
β’ Ensure solutions align with enterprise governance, security, compliance, and risk management standards.
β’ Create clear technical documentation, process maps, architecture diagrams, and implementation guides.
Required Qualifications
β’ 8+ years of overall technology experience, with recent hands-on experience in Generative AI and Agentic AI development.
β’ Strong Python development experience with the ability to build, test, debug, and deploy production-grade solutions.
β’ Hands-on experience designing and implementing AI agents and Agentic workflows.
β’ Experience working with Large Language Models such as OpenAI GPT, Claude, Gemini, or similar platforms.
β’ Strong understanding of prompt engineering, reasoning workflows, function calling, tool usage, and agent orchestration patterns.
β’ Experience building and deploying Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions.
β’ Experience integrating AI solutions with enterprise applications, APIs, databases, and business workflows.
β’ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business challenges into technical solutions.
β’ Experience working directly with business stakeholders, SMEs, and operational teams.
β’ Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
β’ Strong documentation, process mapping, and workflow analysis experience.
Preferred Qualifications
β’ Experience within Banking, Financial Services, FinTech, or highly regulated enterprise environments.
β’ Knowledge of banking operations, risk management, compliance, controls, and operational processes.
β’ Experience with AI frameworks and tools such as Lang chain, LlamaIndex, CrewAI, AutoGen, Semantic Kernel, or similar.
β’ Experience with vector databases, embeddings, semantic search, and knowledge retrieval systems.
β’ Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure.
β’ Experience supporting enterprise AI adoption and operational transformation initiatives.
β’ Exposure to business process management, workflow automation, or process re-engineering initiatives.
