We develop AI-powered tools and automation systems that help clinicians reduce administrative burdens, enhance documentation accuracy, and provide clients with accessible digital support. Position Overview We are seeking an experienced and creative AI Developer / Data Scientist to lead the development of AI-driven tools for behavioral health automation and client engagement. This individual will design, build, and optimize intelligent systems that improve workflows, analyze data, and enhance client outcomes β€” while maintaining strict privacy and ethical standards. Key Responsibilities Design and implement AI models for behavioral health automation (e.g., note summarization, scheduling predictions, or compliance checks). Develop and train natural language processing (NLP) systems to analyze therapy session data (voice/text). Build data pipelines that securely collect, clean, and analyze client and agency data. Collaborate with clinicians to translate behavioral health challenges into AI-powered solutions. Integrate AI tools with electronic health records (EHRs) and automation platforms (Zapier, Make, etc.). Ensure compliance with HIPAA and ethical AI guidelines. Develop dashboards and analytics tools for behavioral insights and outcome tracking. Work with leadership to identify new features, technologies, and research opportunities. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or related field. 2+ years of experience building AI or machine learning applications (Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, OpenAI API). Strong background in data analysis, NLP, and model optimization. Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure). Experience working with healthcare or behavioral health data (preferred). Understanding of HIPAA compliance and data security best practices. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate technical concepts clearly. Preferred Skills Experience integrating APIs and AI models into web applications. Knowledge of behavioral health terminology or therapy documentation. Experience with voice-to-text (Whisper API) or chatbot development. Strong collaboration skills and ability to work in an agile startup environment.
