SKILLS REQUIRED
Primary (Must-Have):
✔️10+ years of total experience with a strong background in data analysis, fraud analytics, or business analysis
✔️Hands-on proficiency with SQL for writing complex queries, data extraction, and trend analysis
✔️Advanced Microsoft Excel expertise for deep-dive data manipulation, modeling, and performance metrics reporting
✔️Proven experience in developing, testing, and optimizing transaction monitoring rules across enterprise fraud systems
✔️Strong expertise in fraud strategy management, data-driven risk mitigation, and performance analysis
Secondary (Good to Have):
✔️Direct experience with digital payment products and frameworks (such as Zelle, BillPay, or real-time payment networks)
✔️Hands-on programming experience in Python for data analytics, automation, and predictive modeling

POSITION OVERVIEW
✔️We are seeking an experienced Senior Fraud Analyst / Business Analyst to drive data analytics, rule development, and risk mitigation strategies for digital payment platforms.
✔️Operating in a remote setup based out of Milwaukee, WI, this position focuses directly on preventing fraud across core digital payment networks (including Zelle and Bill Pay).
✔️The role is responsible for analyzing complex data trends, writing transaction monitoring rules, and benchmarking rule performance across distinct fraud management engines.
✔️You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain existing fraud mitigation controls while designing and deploying next-generation prevention strategies.
✔️This position is critical for continuously improving operational processes and delivering high-visibility performance and ad-hoc analytics to management.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
✔️Perform in-depth data and trend analysis to detect emerging fraud patterns across high-volume digital payment transactions.
✔️Design, program, and deploy fraud strategy rules within two distinct fraud systems, systematically benchmarking and comparing performance metrics.
✔️Maintain existing fraud prevention rules and actively contribute to the architecting of scalable, innovative fraud mitigation strategies.
✔️Identify operational bottlenecks and execute data-driven process improvements across risk management workflows.
✔️Build, automate, and maintain core team reporting structures while delivering timely ad-hoc data analysis to executive stakeholders.
