Role description
Job Title: Senior Digital Analytics Engineer / Digital Measurement Strategist Location: Remote Position Summar yWe are seeking a Senior Digital Analytics Engineer / Digital Measurement Strategist to lead digital measurement governance, analytics implementation, and data quality initiatives for a large-scale eCommerce environment. This role will be responsible for ensuring analytics and marketing technologies are implemented accurately, comply with privacy regulations, and provide reliable business insights. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google Tag Manager (GTM), server-side tagging, consent management, and digital measurement strategy .Key Responsibilitie • sDefine and drive enterprise digital measurement strategy, governance standards, and implementation best practices • .Collaborate with product, engineering, marketing, and business teams to establish measurement requirements and KPIs • .Maintain tracking documentation, event taxonomy, and implementation standards • .Design, implement, and manage Google Tag Manager (web and server-side) solutions • .Develop and govern scalable data layer architecture for analytics and marketing technologies • .Configure, test, and optimize GA4 tracking, marketing pixels, and server-side integrations • .Ensure compliance with GDPR, CCPA, CPRA, and other privacy regulations through consent management platforms • .Monitor tag performance, troubleshoot implementation issues, and continuously optimize tracking • .Conduct analytics audits to identify tracking gaps, duplication, and data quality issues • .Establish QA processes to ensure accurate and reliable analytics data • .Partner with engineering, QA, product, and analytics teams to validate tracking implementations • .Present measurement strategies, recommendations, and findings to both technical and business stakeholders • .Serve as the subject matter expert for digital measurement across cross-functional teams .Required Skill • sExtensive experience with Google Analytics 4 (GA4) • .Strong expertise in Google Tag Manager (GTM), including server-side tagging • .Experience designing and implementing data layer architectures • .Knowledge of consent management platforms such as OneTrust, TrustArc, or Klaro/Clarip • .Strong understanding of JavaScript, browser technologies, and web analytics implementations • .Experience troubleshooting analytics and marketing technology solutions • .Solid understanding of privacy regulations including GDPR, CCPA, and CPRA • .Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills .Preferred Skill • sExperience with BigQuery and Looker Studio • .Knowledge of Meta Conversion API (CAPI) and other server-side marketing integrations • .Experience supporting eCommerce analytics, experimentation, and A/B testing • .Understanding of attribution modeling and digital marketing measurement .Preferred Experienc • e8+ years of experience in digital analytics, web measurement, or marketing technology • .Experience working in enterprise-scale digital or eCommerce environments • .Proven ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, product, analytics, marketing, and business teams .
