Fraud Data Scientist

Title: Data Scientist - Fraud /Risk Management Location: Remote Duration: Long-term Contract Key Skills: Transaction/Payment Fraud, SQL, Python, RAG, LLM, ML Models, Statistics. Job Description: Fraud Management looking for an experienced Data Scientist/Data analyst to support in-depth data analysis to protect business and customer experience. • Experience in automating jobs and streams for data analysis purposes using C#, Python and SQL. • Experience designing and implementing automated workflows to streamline data processes. • Strong skills in creating Jupyter notebooks for data analysis, visualization, and pattern detection. • Ability to develop efficient and user-friendly notebooks and scripts to facilitate data exploration and trend identification. • Experience in conducting training sessions for individuals or teams on building Jupyter notebooks and other automated processes. • Ability to effectively communicate complex concepts and empower others to leverage automation tools for data analysis. • Familiarity with cloud provider and commercial product payment and risk systems is a plus. • Proficiency in employing statistical analysis techniques and data manipulation to detect patterns and trends. • Ability to work collaboratively with a global team not all located in the US – flexibility in hours will be a plus. • Ability to bring innovative ideas and approaches to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of automated processes. • Strong project management capabilities to ensure timely delivery, efficient resource allocation, and effective coordination of tasks. • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring quality and meeting deadlines. • 4+ years of industry experience is a must.
