Location: Summit Golf Brands - New York, NY Position Type: Freelance / Contract Industry: Fashion Apparel - Golf/Active Start Date: Immediate Duration: 3 months Company Overview & Job Description: Summit is a fast-paced, innovation-driven organization in Golf & Active Apparel sector. We are currently in the process of optimizing our product lifecycle processes and require the expertise of a freelance Centric PLM specialist to assist with database development and configuration within the Centric PLM platform. Role Overview: This freelance role requires a professional with deep experience in Centric PLM, strong data structuring and migration skills, and a solid understanding of technical design workflows. You'll work across teams and brands to ensure PLM databases are set up accurately and efficiently to support our design, development, and production processes. Responsibilities: Collaborate with design, technical design, and product development teams across multiple brands Build and manage scalable PLM database structures that accommodate diverse product lines Configure Centric PLM to support each brand's unique data and workflow needs Input and maintain technical design data (e.g., spec sheets, measurement charts, BOMs) Migrate legacy data from various brands into a unified Centric PLM environment Ensure database consistency, accuracy, and usability across brands Support the development of best practices for PLM usage at a multi-brand level Troubleshoot issues and offer process improvement suggestions Document PLM structures and workflows for internal reference and training Requirements: Experience in fashion apparel industry Familiarity with Adobe Illustrator, Excel-based tools and tech pack management Proven experience with Centric Software PLM, preferably in multi-brand or complex environments Strong understanding of technical design, including garment construction and spec development Experience structuring and managing large-scale product data Skilled in data migration, system configuration, and PLM administration Ability to interpret and organize technical information across different product types and brand aesthetics Excellent communication skills; comfortable working cross-functionally and remotely Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-directed Experience with ERP or other supply chain systems Training experience or ability to create user documentation Understanding of compliance or regulatory data management in PLM systems
