Freshservice Developer

Title: Freshworks Developer Location : Remote Target Start Date : ASAP Type: Contract Pay Rate : $65.00-$80.00/hr Summary Our client, a global leader in the design and manufacture of consumer and safety products, is seeking an experienced Freshservice Developer to design, configure, and optimize IT Service Management (ITSM) solutions within the Freshservice platform. This role will focus on workflow automation, system integrations, service catalog enhancements, and platform customization to improve operational efficiency and user experience. Key Responsibilities • Configure and support Freshservice modules including Incident, Request, Problem, Change, and Asset Management. • Design and implement workflows, automations, orchestration rules, and business processes. • Develop and maintain integrations with enterprise systems using REST APIs, webhooks, and custom scripting. • Customize service catalogs, portals, forms, dashboards, and reporting capabilities. • Configure SLA policies, business rules, and operational metrics. • Integrate Freshservice with cloud, identity management, monitoring, and security platforms. • Support platform upgrades, data migrations, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives. • Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to deliver scalable ITSM solutions. Required Qualifications • 5+ years of hands-on Freshservice administration and development experience. • Strong experience with Freshservice workflows, automation, orchestration, and platform customization. • Proficiency with JavaScript, REST APIs, JSON, and webhooks. • Experience integrating Freshservice with Azure AD, Microsoft 365, cloud platforms, and enterprise applications. • Strong understanding of ITIL service management processes and best practices. • Experience building dashboards, reports, and performance metrics. • Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications • Freshservice or Freshworks certifications. • Experience with Freshworks Neo Platform and custom application development. • Knowledge of Azure and/or AWS cloud environments. • Experience supporting large enterprise IT environments. • Familiarity with identity management, security, and IT automation solutions.
