Responsibilities Kforce has a client that is seeking an FS 70% BE 30% FE Spring Boot AWS Oracle in Westlake, TX. Duties: • Work with product management on requirements, decompose epics into stories, and deliver solutions that meet or exceed customer expectations • Build scalable, resilient, cloud-based systems aligned with our long-term strategy • Provide outstanding support, including on-call support when necessary Requirements • 10+ years of hands-on experience in server-side development with Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Camel, JMS, Apache Kafka and Persistence frameworks (JPA/Hibernate) and experience with relational databases (Oracle) • Experience with modern MV • /SPA JavaScript frameworks (Angular, JavaScript/TypeScript, Node, NPM, HTML/CSS, Rx JS), prefer Angular • Experience with API Design & Development and Microservices Architecture (Java, REST, Graph QL, NodeJS, Swagger) • Experience working in Kubernetes environments with strong focus on process and resource utilization/optimization • Experience with Test automation (Selenium, Cucumber, Cypress) Unit, Integration and Functional Tests • Experience in design and development of solutions with object-oriented technologies • Knowledge/experience with DevOps and CI/CD practices and tools such as Jenkins • Understanding of AWS or other cloud platforms and containerization technologies such as ECS and Docker with some AWS experience or AWS Solution Architect Associate or Developer Associate certification preferred • A solid and strong foundation in software engineering and design principles • Strong foundations in design patterns and real time application of these in software development • Strong foundational knowledge on GC (Garbage collection algorithms) and experience in tuning JVM parameters for optimal performance • Have worked in an Agile software delivery environment in both a small team and independently • Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks at a given time • Passionate and committed to learning new things and developing with the latest technologies and framework • Ability to troubleshoot and work on production issues utilizing various tools such as Splunk and Datadog The Expertise Below Will Be a Plus • Cloud/AWS certification(s) • Enterprise application architecture patterns and orchestration frameworks such as Apache Camel The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs.
