About Us
We’re a fast-growing, mission-driven organization that helps people navigate some of the most complex systems in their lives — from healthcare benefits to service delivery experiences that actually work. Our teams thrive at the intersection of people, process, and technology, where doing the right thing for the end user also means operating with precision, scale, and empathy.
We're building smarter systems that power meaningful human touchpoints. That means modern platforms, data you can trust, and technology that gets out of the way — even when the challenges are complex, regulated, and high-stakes.
If you're energized by solving real-world problems with measurable impact, and want to be part of a team that’s serious about execution without taking itself too seriously — you'll fit right in.
What You’ll Do
Phase 1 (Contract Period):
Stand up a secure, automated ingestion pipeline for 837 files and Pre-auth files from payers
Build or adapt parsing logic to convert files into structured formats (JSON, Parquet, tabular)
Normalize claims and prior auth data into usable entities: claims, procedures, diagnosis, member, provider
Implement basic validation and logging for auditability (HITRUST compliant)
Implement basic Next Best Action logic (e.g., flags for gaps in care, frequent ER visits, CPT and ICD-10 codes)
Design output hooks for Salesforce integration (API-ready, CSV-ready, or via Boomi)
Document pipeline, schema, and architectural decisions
Phase 2 (Post-Conversion Path, if applicable):
Own and evolve our internal claims data platform
Optimize data model, implement dbt or similar transformations
Extend logic to support analytics dashboards, reporting, or ML triggers
Build out ingestion for additional sources (NCPDP, 820, provider directories)
Collaborate with internal tech leaders to harden the platform for scale and compliance
You Should Have
Strong experience with 837 (X12 EDI) parsing and transformation
Strong understanding of healthcare data
Proven ability to ingest structured files via SFTP ? Blob/S3 ? parser
Experience building pipelines in Python (or similar language)
Familiarity with dbt, Airflow, or Azure Data Factory
Knowledge of SQL-based warehousing (Snowflake, Synapse, Redshift, or BigQuery)
Experience integrating with Salesforce (or other downstream systems)
HIPAA-aware development practices; HITRUST experience a plus
Comfortable operating as a one-person data team in a lean environment
What We Offer
Fast decision cycles, direct access to senior tech and exec stakeholders
Autonomy to propose and implement architecture that aligns with the broader technical strategy. We welcome strong opinions but expect alignment with the direction we’re building toward.
Clear path to full-time role if mutual fit is established (with comp package aligned to experience and impact)
Opportunity to define a critical internal platform from the ground up
