Full Stack SaaS Product Engineer Remote (UK/Ireland) | Contract | HealthTech SaaS 6 month contract (+ extensions) We’re working with a fast-growing HealthTech SaaS company that is transforming how healthcare providers manage patient engagement, digital assessments, and operational workflows across private clinics and community healthcare services. Their platform helps healthcare organisations reduce administrative overhead, improve patient outcomes, and streamline clinician workflows through secure digital tools, automation, and real-time analytics. Following a recent funding round, the business is entering an exciting new growth phase and is expanding its engineering function to support product innovation and international expansion. Already successfully operating across the UK, Ireland, and Australia, they are now scaling the platform into new markets while building new product modules focused on clinical automation, integrations, and data intelligence. They’re looking for a Full Stack SaaS Product Engineer to join the team on a fully remote contract basis. The Role: This is a hands-on product engineering role where you’ll work closely with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to build scalable SaaS features end-to-end. You’ll be involved in developing new customer-facing modules, enhancing platform performance, improving system architecture, and helping shape engineering best practices as the platform scales internationally. The environment is highly product-focused, fast-moving, and collaborative, with engineers encouraged to contribute to technical direction and product thinking. Tech Stack: The business is heavily invested in modern TypeScript and AWS technologies, including: • TypeScript across the full stack • Node.js backend services • React frontend applications • AWS serverless architecture • Lambda, API Gateway, ECS, and EventBridge • DynamoDB and PostgreSQL • Infrastructure as Code with Terraform • CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions • Microservices and event-driven architecture • Secure healthcare data integrations and APIs They’re looking for engineers who enjoy building scalable SaaS products and are comfortable working across both frontend and backend systems. What You’ll Be Doing: • Building and launching new SaaS product modules • Developing scalable full stack applications using TypeScript • Designing and improving AWS cloud infrastructure • Creating secure APIs and third-party integrations • Collaborating with Product and UX teams on feature delivery • Contributing to architectural decisions and technical strategy • Improving system reliability, performance, and observability • Supporting the platform’s expansion into new international markets What They’re Looking For: • Strong commercial experience with TypeScript • Experience building modern SaaS platforms • Strong knowledge of AWS cloud services • Experience with React and Node.js • Understanding of scalable distributed systems • Experience working in product-led engineering teams • Comfortable in fast-growth startup or scale-up environments • Experience with healthcare, regulated environments, or secure data platforms is beneficial but not essential Contract Details: • Fully remote • Contract role • Long-term project work • Competitive day rate • Immediate interview process This is an opportunity to join a well-funded HealthTech company at a key stage of growth, where you’ll have direct impact on both the product roadmap and the future scalability of the platform.
