Fullstack Developer – Boq Framework

Position: Full stack Developer – BOQ Framework W2 Only Location: San Jose, CA or Austin, TX Duration: 3 months, with strong likelihood of extension through December 2026 Position Overview: We are seeking a Full stack Developer with strong expertise in the BOQ framework to join a dynamic development team. This role involves end-to-end front-end and back-end development, creating high-quality, scalable web applications with a focus on responsive design, test-driven development, and UI/UX best practices. The candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams including UI/UX designers, QA engineers, and project managers to deliver robust, maintainable, and high-performance applications. Key Responsibilities: • Develop web applications using BOQ framework, following best practices for coding, design patterns, and modular development. • Design, implement, and maintain front-end components using JavaScript, CSS, and HTML. • Write and maintain unit tests and integration tests using Soy and Jasmine frameworks to ensure high code quality. • Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement responsive and interactive user interfaces. • Troubleshoot and debug issues across the full stack, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions. • Participate in code reviews, mentoring peers, and enforcing coding standards and best practices. • Work in an Agile/Scrum environment, participating in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives. • Ensure cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility for web applications. • Maintain documentation of development tasks, architecture, and workflow processes. Required Skills & Qualifications: • Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience with BOQ framework. • Strong expertise in JavaScript, CSS, and front-end development. • Experience with Soy templates for dynamic web content. • Proficient in writing unit tests with Jasmine. • Knowledge of full-stack development practices and integration with back-end services. • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and iterative development. • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams and mentor junior developers. Preferred / Nice-to-Have: • Prior experience with large-scale web applications in IBM or similar enterprise environments. • Experience working remotely with distributed teams, particularly in high-performing tech companies (e.g., Google). • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and code deployment processes.
