GA Tech Technical Business Analyst

Position Title: Salesforce Business Analyst – Salesforce CRM & Marketing Cloud Location: Atlanta, GA (Hybrid) Clearance Requirements: None Position Status: Contract (6 months with possible extension) Pay Rate: $45/hr on w2 Position Description We are seeking a Salesforce Business Analyst with strong Salesforce Lightning Experience and Marketing Cloud expertise to serve as a subject matter expert supporting enterprise CRM operations. This role will act as the primary troubleshooting resource and functional liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring that Salesforce and Marketing Cloud solutions effectively support marketing, advising, and digital communications initiatives. The ideal candidate brings deep Salesforce CRM knowledge, strong analytical skills, and experience managing UAT, data integrations, and reporting. You will help optimize Salesforce functionality, improve marketing automation capabilities, and ensure data integrity across the platform. This position requires a professional who thrives in cross-functional collaboration, enjoys solving complex technical problems, and is passionate about improving business processes through Salesforce technology. Key Responsibilities Salesforce Support & Troubleshooting • Serve as the Salesforce subject matter expert for Salesforce Lightning Experience and Marketing Cloud. • Provide advanced troubleshooting and user support for complex Salesforce CRM issues. • Diagnose and resolve data integration, automation, and platform performance issues. Salesforce Reporting & Analytics • Design and build advanced Salesforce reports and dashboards, including cross-filters and custom report types. • Support business teams with actionable insights through data visualization and reporting enhancements. Marketing Cloud Development & Optimization • Build and optimize Salesforce Marketing Cloud solutions, including CloudPages and digital communication workflows. • Support marketing automation initiatives and ensure seamless integration between Marketing Cloud and Salesforce CRM. Business Analysis & Stakeholder Collaboration • Partner with Marketing, Advising, and Digital Communications teams to translate business requirements into scalable Salesforce solutions. • Facilitate requirements gathering, process mapping, and workflow documentation. User Acceptance Testing & Adoption • Coordinate and manage User Acceptance Testing (UAT) processes. • Support system adoption and user enablement by providing documentation, training, and guidance to functional teams. Data Integrity & System Optimization • Ensure data quality and consistency across Salesforce and Marketing Cloud. • Troubleshoot segmentation, list management, and automation behaviors. • Document system processes, enhancements, and recommendations for continuous improvement.
