Primary Services is excited to announce the role of Gas Metering Business Analyst for a major, industry-leading client. This opportunity supports a multi-year smart metering program to deploy advanced gas metering systems across multiple regions. The role offers exposure to enterprise-level projects, cross-functional collaboration, and long-term strategic initiatives that shape the future of energy delivery. Responsibilities • Gather and analyze business and technical requirements related to gas metering deployment across multiple workstreams. • Conduct stakeholder meetings and presentations to communicate findings, insights, and recommendations. • Document business processes, system requirements, and project progress against established milestones. • Collaborate with project teams, operations, and leadership to align deployment activities and dependencies. • Ensure solutions meet defined business needs and technical specifications. • Develop and execute integration and user acceptance testing plans for metering systems. • Perform data mapping between client-server applications and SAP environments based on user requirements. • Validate meter data across the end-to-end system architecture to ensure accuracy and consistency. • Communicate updates related to technical meter specifications and deployment changes. • Evaluate existing business processes and identify opportunities for optimization and standardization. • Support change management initiatives and maintain adherence to internal best practices. • Serve as a liaison between technical teams, program stakeholders, and end-users. • Monitor project updates and stakeholder impacts across multiple deployment workstreams. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a related field. • 5–7 years of experience in business analysis, preferably within utility, energy, or infrastructure projects. • Experience supporting large-scale system implementation or deployment programs. • Proficiency in requirements gathering, process mapping, and documentation. • Hands-on experience with SAP or similar ERP systems. • Experience with integration testing, user acceptance testing, and data validation. • Strong understanding of IT systems, data flows, and system integration concepts. • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. • Familiarity with smart metering systems or utility operations preferred.
