Role Overview
Senior Data Engineer with 10+ years of experience in GCP and pharma domain. Responsible for building scalable data pipelines and supporting analytics, reporting, and ML use cases.
Key Responsibilities
• Build and maintain data pipelines using GCP (BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage).
• Develop and optimize ETL/ELT workflows.
• Collaborate with analytics and business teams to deliver reliable data.
• Design data models and ensure data quality and performance.
• Support reporting and ML workloads.
Required Skills & Qualifications
• 10+ years in data engineering.
• Strong GCP experience (BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Composer).
• Advanced SQL and Python.
• Experience with pharma datasets (clinical, R&D, commercial).
• Strong ETL/ELT, data modeling, and orchestration knowledge.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with Vertex AI or ML pipelines.
• Knowledge of CDISC, SDTM, or similar standards.
• Experience with Snowflake or Databricks.
Education
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in a related field.
