Role description
This is a Data & Platform Engineer (GCP) role, with strong emphasis on technical leadership, hands-on architecture, GCP infrastructure, and data engineering.
The key requirements shown are:
• Technical lead for an enterprise data platform, setting direction on infrastructure and pipeline patterns.
• Own infrastructure decisions, including Terraform module design, GCP project structure, IAM strategy, and dev → staging → prod promotion.
• Act as the GCP SME / technical lead — someone who sets direction rather than only follows existing standards.
• Build reusable pipeline frameworks from scratch.
• Design Terraform modules from the ground up.
• Architect and build ETL/ELT pipelines using Google Cloud Dataflow / Apache Beam.
• Use Dataform for SQL-based transformations on BigQuery.
• Be comfortable with enterprise and legacy data integration.
• Demonstrate strong hands-on architectural ownership.
