GCP Data Engineer (W2 ONLY)

Hybrid in Irving, Texas 12-24 Month Contract - Can convert Top Skills' Details • Hands on experience with AI tools like LangChain, LangGraph/ADK, LLM's, RAG, MCP, etc. You will be designing and building AI-enabled, cloud native date pipelines using Pyspark and Python. Also, leveraging LLM's and agentic frameworks to automate data engineering workflows end to end. • 6+ years of experience in data engineering with hands on experience creating/supporting spark based ingestion and processing. • Experience working with the GCP data services- Google cloud storage, BigQuery, data proc, cloud composer. • Experience with data lake architecture and design, with hands on experience with Kafka, Airflow, etc. • Python experience- this should be there bread and butter especially given the AI component Description We are seeking a Cloud Data Platform Engineer to help build a modern, AI-enabled data platform from the ground up for our client's Cyber Security Data Ecosystem. This is a highly visible, hands-on role focused on designing and delivering next-generation cloud analytics and AI-driven data engineering solutions in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment. In this role, you will lead the design and implementation of scalable data platforms on a hybrid cloud, supporting the migration from on-premises systems to Google Cloud. You will work closely with principal engineers, product managers, and data engineers in an agile, matrixed organization to roadmap, build, and operationalize modern data capabilities. A major focus of this role is using AI to transform the entire data engineering lifecycle—from requirements gathering and documentation, to Jira automation, code generation, pipeline creation, deployment, and post-production incident triage. You will help pioneer the use of agentic and LLM-based frameworks to automate data pipelines, governance, quality, metadata management, and natural-language-based data access.
