GCP DevOps Engineer

Job Title: GCP DevOps Engineer (Banking experience preferred) Duration: long-term contract Location: Hybrid (Leeds) Visa: No sponsorship available/No PSW visa Job Description: We’re looking for an experienced GCP DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in cloud-native DevOps practices, automation, and CI/CD orchestration. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience across Google Cloud and related tools, driving operational excellence and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities: • Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines and cloud automation. • Work with tools such as Jenkins, Terraform, Harness, and monitoring platforms like Dynatrace. • Automate infrastructure and deployments using Python, Bash, or similar scripting languages. • Manage containerised workloads using Docker and Kubernetes. • Ensure platform reliability, scalability, and cloud security best practices. • Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance DevOps processes and engineering standards. Requirements: • Proven DevOps experience in GCP (multi-cloud experience with AWS/Azure is a plus). • Strong knowledge of source control, Infrastructure as Code, and cloud security. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills. • Relevant certification (e.g., Google Cloud DevOps Engineer) preferred.
