Position: GCP Engineer (Ex Apple) Location: Austin, TX - Onsite Job Description: We are looking for a skilled GCP (Google Cloud Platform) Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with GCP services and possess a valid GCP certification. Key Responsibilities: • Design and deploy cloud-native applications using Google Cloud services • Build, manage, and monitor infrastructure using Terraform or Deployment Manager • Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments • Configure and optimize Kubernetes (GKE) environments • Ensure security, compliance, and cost optimization of cloud solutions • Collaborate with development, DevOps, and security teams to support cloud architecture • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues related to GCP Required Skills & Qualifications: • 3–5+ years of cloud engineering experience with at least 2+ years in GCP • Strong knowledge of GCP services like: • Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, VPC, Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, BigQuery • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Cloud Deployment Manager) • Proficient in scripting (Python, Bash, or similar) • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes (GKE preferred) • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like Stackdriver, Cloud Monitoring • Experience in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Cloud Build) • Strong understanding of networking, IAM, security, and cost optimization on GCP • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills Certification (Mandatory): • Must hold at least one valid GCP certification, such as: • Google Associate Cloud Engineer
