Role : GEN AI Technical Partner
Duration : Long Term Contact
Location : Los Angeles CA hybrid
Job Description:
Job Description – AI Technical Partner (Contract)
Delivery Support
• GenAI Solutioning
• Workforce Uplift
Engagement: Contract
Title: AI Technical Partner
Reports to: Global Head of ML & Generative AI (Financial Services)
Overview
We are looking for an AI Technical Partner who can work alongside our Data & AI teams to support a large portfolio (across data engineering, analytics, ML, and GenAI). This role is intentionally non-hierarchical: you are a hands-on partner who helps teams reason better, deliver more consistently, and structure GenAI solutions with clarity.
This is not a PM, not an architect-of-record, not a strategist.
You are a technical adult in the room who brings calm, structure, and engineering discipline.
Support Delivery Across Data & AI Work streams
• Partner with existing engineering and delivery teams to help stabilize execution.
• Provide structure around scoping, dependencies, and technical decision-making.
• Identify risks early and propose practical mitigations.
• Help reduce noise and streamline engineering workflows.
Shape and Clarify GenAI & Data Solutions
• Help translate open-ended GenAI asks into workable solution outlines.
• Support design sessions for RAG, agentic systems, domain-adapted models, and BFSI-safe architectures.
• Review technical artifacts for clarity, feasibility, and alignment with constraints.
• Offer guidance grounded in practicality, not heavy theory.
Uplift Workforce Skills & Thinking
• Coach teams—especially junior and early-career talent—on:
o structured reasoning,
o analytic writing,
o communication clarity,
o data literacy,
o “how to think as an AI engineer.”
• Build lightweight guides, templates, and repeatable patterns for better execution.
• Promote clean thinking and technical discipline across the team.
Act as a Technical Partner to Leadership
• Provide point-in-time input on architecture notes, solution drafts, and internal technical narratives.
• Help sharpen write-ups and ensure ideas land clearly with clients and teams.
• Serve as a trusted collaborator—not a decision-maker, but a clarifier.
What You Bring
• 10+ years in Data Engineering, ML, AI, or GenAI roles (hands-on).
• Ability to bring order and clarity to complex engineering environments.
• Strong GenAI understanding (RAG, agents, evaluations, data flows).
• Excellent communication and structured thinking; able to teach both.
• Comfort operating in BFSI or other regulated environments.
• A calm, steady, “let’s get this done” operating style."
