Our client, a leading technology organization specializing in innovative software solutions, is seeking a Software Engineer 3 - Contingent to join their team. As a Software Engineer 3 - Contingent, you will be part of the Software Engineering department supporting large-scale AI and cloud platform initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate adaptability, strong problem-solving skills, and collaborative spirit, which will align successfully within the organization. Job Title: Software Engineer 3 - Contingent Location: Wilmington, DE Pay Range What's the Job? • Consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives within Software Engineering, contributing to large-scale planning and deliverables. • Review and analyze complex Software Engineering challenges, providing in-depth evaluations and solutions. • Develop and optimize LLM-driven autonomous agents, multi-agent systems, and tool-using agent workflows. • Build high-performance Python microservices and AI APIs using frameworks like FastAPI, Flask, and LangChain. • Deploy and operate AI solutions on cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and enterprise Kubernetes platforms. What's Needed? • 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, including work or consulting experience, training, military experience, or education. • Proficiency in Python, including async programming, APIs, microservices, and distributed systems. • Experience with GCP and OpenShift/Kubernetes for deploying scalable AI platforms. • Knowledge of RAG pipelines, embeddings, vector search, and LLM orchestration. • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently while driving AI innovation.
