Generative AI Data Scientist

Job Description An employer is looking to add an AI Generative Data Scientist to their team in St. Louis, MO. This person will join a small team of Data Scientists and will assist our client in building AI models for database services. They have 5 use cases that have been identified and they need someone to create the models for these use cases. In this role, you will design, build, and deploy generative AI models that automate database services and resolve issues in their environment. This person will collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to prototype and integrate AI-driven features into production systems. They will be responsible for mining complex data and providing systems-related advice for their organization. They will be responsible for managing statistical data and creating different models based on the needs of their company. They will be designing, developing, and optimizing generative AI models (e.g., LLMs, GANs, VAEs, diffusion models) for use in applications such as: Natural language generation (NLG) Synthetic data generation Image/audio generation Conversational AI and virtual assistants. They will create foundation models (LLMs, diffusion models, GANs, etc.), and use Python and SQL to code and pull data from databases. Required Skills & Experience • 3+ years of experience designing, developing, and optimizing generative AI models (e.g., LLMs, GANs, VAEs, diffusion models) • Deep expertise in machine learning, particularly in foundation models (LLMs, diffusion models, GANs, etc.) • Strong Python and SQL programming skills to create APIs and pull data from the databases • Experience creating AI models for database services
