What You’ll Do • Partner with customer success, sales, and operations teams to understand geospatial data needs • Use GIS software and existing site selection methodologies to identify suitable locations for remote camera deployments • Generate customized map layouts, web maps, applications, and data pipelines to support cross-functional activities • Develop and maintain Python-based automation tools in collaboration with data scientists, following software engineering best practices, including code reviews, pull requests, and version control with Git/GitHub • Build and query PostgreSQL/PostGIS databases to support geospatial data workflows • Deliver training and technical support to internal users • Collaborate on special projects as needed What You’ll Bring • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Geography, Statistics, Math, or a related field • 1–2 years of experience in data analysis, geospatial analysis, or similar roles • Strong Python programming skills • Experience with SQL and relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL • Familiarity with Git/GitHub workflows (branching, pull requests, code reviews) • Excellent geospatial skills with experience in ArcGIS/ESRI or equivalent platforms • Strong mathematical background with attention to detail • Proactive, self-motivated, and well-organized Nice to have • Experience with PostGIS or other spatial database extensions • Familiarity with ETL pipeline development • Experience with cloud-based geospatial tools or data warehouses The final salary offer depends on a variety of factors, including an individual’s job-related qualifications, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and location.
