JOB DESCRIPTION We are seeking a skilled GIS Business Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with ArcGIS, SQL, and ETL tools, and will be responsible for managing and analyzing geospatial data to support business decision-making processes. REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Key Responsibilities: Data Management: Collect, validate, and integrate spatial data from various sources. Maintain and update GIS databases to ensure data integrity. Spatial Analysis: Conduct advanced spatial analyses and create maps to visualize data for internal and external stakeholders. ETL Processes: Design and implement ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data between systems. Technical Support: Provide technical support and training for GIS users on GIS applications and related technologies. Project Collaboration: Work closely with project managers and other team members to develop project-specific GIS solutions. Documentation: Develop technical documentation and training materials for GIS processes and applications. Required Qualifications: • Education: Bachelor's degree in Geography, Geospatial Sciences, Information Technology, or a related field. • Experience: Proven experience with ArcGIS, SQL, and ETL tools. • Technical Skills: Proficiency in GIS software (e.g., ArcGIS), database management systems (e.g., SQL), and ETL tools. • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets. • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
