Job Title: GIS Data Architect/Analyst

Key Responsibilities:
• Data extraction, transformation, loading, validation, and modeling.
• Building and maintaining GIS applications using scripting, geoprocessing, and other relevant tools.
• Configuring, integrating, and optimizing GIS software and hardware.
• Conducting spatial analysis and generating reports to support decision-making.
• Providing technical assistance and training to client staff.
• LaDOTD has invested in a suite of GIS technologies, including but not limited to:
• Esri ArcGIS Suite: For enterprise GIS capabilities.
• Feature Manipulation Engine (FME): For data transformation and integration.
• VertiGIS Studio and Inline: For web map development.
• Tableau: For data insights, visualization, and analysis.
• PMGs HPMS/SLD Manager: For highway performance management system data and straight-line diagramming.
• Deliverables
• Consultant will deliver well-documented, efficient, and sustainable GIS solutions. Knowledge transfer through training and documentation is essential to ensure long-term success.
• The goal is to enhance LaDOTD's data management and analysis capabilities, improve decision-making, and meet federal reporting requirements through the effective development and utilization of an Enterprise GIS system.
