Our client a well known Financial Services Firm is seeking a Global Markets Pre-Trade IT - Business Analyst in their New York, New York Location! Roles and responsibilities: • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements for IT integration. • Analyze and interpret complex data flows from multiple structured and unstructured sources, improving data quality and consistency across teams. • Utilize business analytics tools to provide actionable insights that support informed decision-making and strategic planning. • Develop comprehensive reports and dashboards that address persistent reporting requests for management and support partners. • Support the integration of internal tools into the Credit Markets ecosystem for effective deal checklist automation and data reconciliation. • Identify opportunities for improvement and innovation in the context of Global Securities Financing and Equities. • Develop and maintain detailed functional specifications and use cases to guide development teams. • Facilitate communication between business units, development teams, and stakeholders to ensure alignment and clarity on project goals and deliverables. • Participate in the testing and validation of new features and enhancements, ensuring alignment with business requirements. • Provide ongoing support to users, addressing inquiries and assisting with training as needed. Skills: • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field. • 5 to 9 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within the Credit Markets or financial services domain. • Strong understanding of fixed income products and credit market operations. • Effective communication skills with an ability to present complex information clearly to stakeholders. • Experience with automating workflows and integrating business intelligence tools. • Proficient in data analysis and visualization tools. • Familiarity with agile methodologies and project management practices. • Detail-oriented, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
