Role description
Job Title: Global Solutions Associate (II)
Location: New York NY (Hybrid – Tue, Wed, Thur Onsite for 3 days)
Duration: 6 months contract
Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Global Solutions Specialist with data visualization experience to build high-fidelity, external-facing financial dashboards. You will be responsible for the full data lifecycle: querying financial data housed in Google BigQuery, optimizing it for reporting, and visualizing it via Looker Studio for external stakeholders.
Minimum role qualifications requirement::
• 4 years of program management experience or equivalent relevant experience in strategy operations, product management or consulting.
• Experience with data analysis, generating data-driven insights to influence decision-making using SQL or other analytical approaches.
Top Responsibilities:
Business Intelligence & Dashboard Architecture:
• End-to-End Report Development: Design and maintain high-fidelity, branded Looker Studio dashboards that serve as the primary interface for external clients.
• Advanced Logic Implementation: Build complex report features using Calculated Fields, REGEX, and Parameters to provide interactive "self-service " analytics for non-technical users.
• Data Synthesis: Execute multi-source data blending to create a unified view of disparate datasets within the visualization layer.
• UI/UX Standardization: Ensure all deliverables meet professional "client-ready " standards, focusing on navigation, clarity, and brand alignment.
Data Engineering & SQL Optimization:
• Performant Data Modeling: Architect and manage BigQuery Views and Materialized Views specifically optimized to power Looker Studio reports.
• Advanced Querying: Write and maintain complex SQL scripts utilizing CTEs, window functions, and nested structures to transform raw data into report-ready formats.
• Cost & Performance Management: Implement partitioning and clustering strategies to ensure rapid dashboard load times while minimizing GCP compute costs.
Security, Infrastructure & Governance:
• Access Control Management: Design and implement IAM roles and Service Accounts to facilitate secure connections between GCP resources and external endpoints.
• Data Privacy Compliance: Build and audit Row-Level Security (RLS) protocols to ensure strict data multi-tenancy (external clients only seeing their own data).
• Deployment & Embedding: Manage the technical integration of reports into external platforms via Iframes or APIs, including the management of public/private sharing permissions.
Financial Domain Leadership:
• Financial Data Integrity: Ensure 100% precision in P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow reporting, accounting for complex logic such as currency conversions and varying data granularities.
• Cross-Functional Translation: Act as the bridge between raw financial data schemas and executive-level insights, ensuring the "story " the data tells is accurate and actionable.
As Global Solutions Associate, you build and influence across your own team and cross-functional teams (e. g. Team Leads, Product Managers), supporting decisions that maximize strategic benefit to client and customers. You deliver full pieces of a project by translating market and customer needs into product requirements or by delivering insights to enable sales activation or product strategy execution with minimal assistance. You leverage your working knowledge of product or solution areas, competitive landscapes, consumer trends, advertiser perspectives, and business problems as well as an understanding of related areas of the client organization and upstream/downstream functions to focus on tactical execution of strategy within a domain, choosing among defined approaches with some guidance.
Responsibilities include:
• Support structuring of alphas and betas, conduct research regarding launch readiness, collaborate with marketing and other teams to launch, and contribute to product adoption, with some guidance. Identify macro themes, and support value proposition development and sales prioritization via BFM, PRPs, MOs, rOPPSs, with some guidance.
• Perform market and complete analysis, support defining product market strategy informed by customer feedback, complete work related to creating strategic opportunity documentation and capturing longer-term needs, with minimal guidance.
• Research and make recommendations regarding product prioritization and roadmaps, perform product and tools shaping, and support cross-portfolio management.
Additional skills required include:
• Proficiency in Sales/partnership strategy and techniques
• Proficiency in Industry Knowledge & Analysis
• Proficiency in Data-driven analysis and reporting
• Proficiency in Opportunity and pipeline management
• Proficiency in Customer conversations
• Proficiency in Situational leadership
• Proficiency in Stakeholder management strategy
• Proficiency in Project management strategy
• Proficiency in Operations management strategy
• Proficiency in Consultative skills
Russell Tobin offers eligible employees comprehensive healthcare coverage (medical, dental, and vision plans), supplemental coverage (accident insurance, critical illness insurance, and hospital indemnity), 401(k)-retirement savings, life & disability insurance, an employee assistance program, legal support, auto, home insurance, pet insurance and employee discounts with preferred vendors
