Responsibilities: β€’ Migrate from existing scripts and business workflows SFTP / FTP processes to 150 new event rules using Globalscape EFT with Automated Workflow Engine (AWE) data validation scripting to for file transfer rules; the service to be completed within the total billable units of 480 hours. β€’ Engineer should be familiar with PGP keys awe, Globalscape HA environment, firewall, have Linux and windows, shell, bash, Globalscape EFTAPI skills are a plus β€’ Help migrate PeopleSoft HCM File transfer processes from PeopleSoft cluster to Client EFT system. β€’ Help migrate Epic-PB and Epic-HB file transfer process from Epic cluster to Client EFT system. β€’ Participate in the Review & Remediation of Inbound and Outbound FTP Configuration meeting hosted by the Client Project Manager. β€’ Review the items listed in the Remediate Inbound & Outbound FTP Excel spreadsheet. β€’ Work closely with the business application team and application server support team to collect existing Unix SFTP shell scripts and cron jobs, and translate them into detailed, documented process steps. β€’ Schedule a meeting with the EFT Administrator and Application team to review the end-to-end process, gather feedback, and update the documentation accordingly. β€’ Once the workflow is approved, create a Service Request ticket. β€’ Implement the EFT event rule under Client EFT implementation guideline. β€’ Configure and test the initial SFTP connection (connection profile) in the EFT DEV cluster and validate connectivity. β€’ If issues arise, open a Service Request with the Network team and coordinate with the MCIT Network team, vendor technical support, and application team to troubleshoot and resolve TCP / IP or connectivity issues. β€’ If encryption or decryption is required for the data transfer, coordinate with the Application team and vendor support to ensure proper implementation and validation of the encryption / decryption mechanism. β€’ Coordinate with the application team, application server support team, vendor support, and EFT Administrators to perform the production cutover, migrating the process from Unix scripts to EFT Event Rules. Validate workflow execution and logging with the Application team. β€’ Update the Project Manager and tracking documentation with validation results and implementation status. β€’ Add Globalscape Automated Workflow Engine (AWE) data validation scripting to new 150 EFT file transfer event rules is the service to be completed within the total billable units of 480 hours. β€’ Data validation workflow checks will consist of: β€’ File size (too large, too small, expected size, zero). β€’ File type (.txt, .csv, .pdf and custom extensions). β€’ Expected data (Number of columns or records). β€’ Test for string within data (E.g.: search for test). β€’ Engineer will assist stakeholders and two subject matter experts with activation of new event rules with AWE workflow rule integration.
